Power Balance is @ Cactus

March 5th, 2010

Call into any Cactus Black store and feel the power yourself

What Is Power Balance?

Power Balance Performance Technology has been embedded with naturally occuring frequencies found in nature that have been known to react positively with your body’s energy field to amplify cell to cell communication.  When cells communicate better, the body works better-improving balance, flexibility, strength, endurance, stamina, focus and overall wellness.

How Does Power Balance Work?

When Power Balance comes in contact with the body’s energy field, it resonates at a low-level frequency that improves the flow of energy throughout the body and helps regulate its static energy.  Like a tuning fork, Power Balance creates cellular harmony that allows you to perform at your optimum level.

Summer Shredding at Baw Baw.

January 18th, 2010

Hey Everyone,

Are you getting the itch to strap on your snowboard after a long hot summer? Well now is your chance… Head to Mt Baw Baw.

A New Dry Slope has been erected for your year round ripping needs.

What’s Dry Slope?
Dry Slope is a material designed to simulate sliding on the snow, and won’t wreck your skis or snowboard in any way. Think of it as looking a bit like fake grass, but as slippery as the white stuff.

Official launch is Australia Day Weekend – in conjunction with the Down to Earth Festival running 23rd and 24th January.

Awesome activities include: A mad BABs (big airbag) to perfect your Rodeos, Wicked mini terrain park and always fun, dry slope tubing.

Other declared dates for the Dry Slope to be out at this stage are:

February 13-14th – Valentine’s Day Weekend.

March 6-7th  - Labour Day Weekend

April 3-4th – Easter Weekend.

Dry Slope activities cost $25 for half day access pass.

With the sprinkling of snow that is falling as we speak, should be loads of FUN!

Check out the photo’s.

So, no excuses, get ahead, grab some mates and learn new skills for the upcoming season.

WHOOP!

Forum Battle @ Baw Baw

July 23rd, 2009

Yer Yer we know, it’s like Thursday and we haven’t posted any Battle at Baw Baw updates yet………sorry about that but we have been like super busy (ride everything day yesterday) and have been waiting for our friends at TSC to edit this clip, and we must say I think they have done a super fine job too. Check out these young guns ripping Australia’s finest stair rail

Must say, the quality of the young riders this year was a highlight of the event. Yes Robbie was there and yes Mitch and Alex SMOOOOTHED the rails all arvo and yes Ben ALMOST landed that forward flip on the down, BUT I must admit to see those juniors hit that feature without any hesitation was an inspiration to us older  mature not quite so young guns. A special thanks to TSC for the clip too, is rad………… (more…)

BAW WAR – THE BATTLE CONTINUES………….

July 3rd, 2009

2009 is shaping up to be the biggest season on record, which you may say is a big call considering up until a day or so ago we didn’t have a whole lot on the ground, but anyway thats in the past, IT’S GONNA BE BIG!!! Speaking of BIG, the annual Battle at Baw Baw is on again and this year really does promise to be a great event.  Our mates at Forum tell us the interst for this event is massive this year, which does not supprise us at all given the great press we have received in the past and the feed back from some of Australia’s best riders. OH YER, keep an eye out for a NEW FEATURE this year………………….cant say much, but do suggest you get up and take a look.
