Snow is on the ground and in the air……………………………….

 

Our friends at Baw Baw tell us that they received 1cm of fresh stuff last night and that it is currently coming down at the summit.  Started falling about 8pm last night!!!!!!!

While March normally heralds a change in autumn trees and the fall of deciduous leaves, Mt Baw Baw experienced a fall of a more familiar nature overnight, with the Resort experiencing over 1.5cm of snow in 24 hrs. The early snow looks to be a promising prelude to the 2008 winter season, with staff and management excited by the first sprinkling of snow. Leona Turra, CEO of Mt Baw Baw ARMB confirmed the snowfall has been well received. “This is simply white gold!  Snow in March is a good omen. Lets hope that this signals an above average snow fall this season.” The Resort is currently preparing for the Winter season with a range of improvements to infrastructure including a new downhill hill run and expansion of the Cactus Rail Park being actioned over the summer months.

I know you can see grass and rocks and stuff……but we are still pretty excited, it is March you know.  Can not wait to see some snow on our new rails and boxes this season.
