The Flow Big Air Comp at Baw Baw was a huge success, and attracted riders from all over the country and even from overseas! Mt Baw Baw has had 30cms of fresh snow since Monday, so the event ran in ideal conditions.
The event was sponsored by Flow, Cactus Black and RPS The Board Store. There was plenty of fresh snow and some MASSIVE tricks.
Flow Snowboarding provided US sponsored riders Jeremy Thompson and Ian Thorley as judges and International Team Manager Andrew Mutty who kept the crowd entertained on the mic all day.

Gorillas in the mist, pole jammin, shaving the mossy rock monsters and waking up the new log ride for the season.
Michael Trotto wagged school to twist and shout for shits and goggles. Nate Orton crossed paths with us laid down some funs too!. And a grand dining experience was had in Erica at hot rocks on thee path home, a must check out and dece ender to any baw baw’ding day.

Forum’s Battle at Baw Baw is on again this year and will be happening on Sat the 24th of July at Mt Baw Baw. The event will be held on Baw Baw’s custom built stair set in the Cactus Black rail park. Entry is free and juniors are welcome. To pre register email forumaustralia@forum-snowboards.com.au however if you don’t get around to it you can register on the day at 10:30 am at the Forum tent. The main event starts at 1pm. Come watch the action or just stuff your face to win a forum snowboard at the Chilli dog eating competition. Official After party at the Alpine Hotel and the famous fireworks display from 8pm.

Hotham Fires up Snowmaking

Hotham fired up the snowguns overnight following some favourable conditions presented by Mother Nature. With only 7 sleeps to go, the snowmaking has commenced in preparation for next weekend’s season opening.
Snowmaking started around 1am on Saturday morning and has been running since then. The Main Line (Heavenly Valley and Village areas) and Big D Systems were started and around 400 cubic metres had been produced by 6am.
